The username and password are a sequence of characters used as identification for security purposes to protect users’ personal data

A username and password enable a customer to access their account and personalise their listing for the duration of the subscription.
These two pieces of information are used each time the user visits Smart Local (or any site that runs from the Smart Local database) to gain access to areas of the website in accordance with his or her subscription.

Basically, our client can access any, and all of the details of their listing. To do this, all they need to do is visit www.smartlocal.co.uk (or any of our other directories) and click the 'login' or 'members' button, located at the right-hand side at the top of the page.

From here, they will be asked to input their username and password, which they will have already received from our system, and once they have logged in, they have the ability to monitor and change any of the details of their listing.

All the customer has to do is input their details and they will have access to their personal account.
